Psi Chi Membership
To join the National Psi Chi Honors Society, the following requirements
must be met*:
- Must have 3.5 grade point average in Psychology and 3.37 GPA overall
- Must have completed nine semester hours of Psychology courses
- Must have completed at least 3 semesters of college courses
- National Dues are $35 (one-time only, lifetime membership)
- Local chapter dues are assigned upon membership, according to the
following schedule:

~Sophomores and Juniors $30
~Seniors $15
Once you have completed the application, submit it to the Psi Chi box on the bulletin board outside PY229 (Advising Office). Your application will be processed and you will receive a notification within 2-3 weeks that includes an acceptance form and a membership registration form. Both of these forms must be promptly returned to the Psi Chi box along with all member dues/fees. We conduct two ceremonies per academic year (one in Fall, one in Spring), during which membership candidates receive a formal induction and become full members upon presentation of a Psi Chi certificate and membership card.
* However, all others who do not meet the formal national membership requirements can be members of the local club.
