There is a large amount of money available to Indiana University students in the form of grants. You can apply and receive money for all kinds of activities including research programs, graduate programs, and even travel. This resource is meant to provide students in the Psychology Department with a simple way to find, apply, and receive grant money. University Awards
The Wells Graduate Fellowship
Wells Fellowship
One doctoral student doctoral or M.F.A. student who exemplifies the
characteristics of Chancellor Wells; single-year award of $30,000 that
must be used the year it is granted.
Future Faculty Teaching Fellowships (FFTF)
FFTF
For advanced IU Bloomington doctoral and MFA students to enhance their
career preparation by experiencing faculty life in another academic
environment, either within and outside of Indiana.
Grant in Aid
Graduate Grants
For advanced Bloomington graduate students with unusual research
expenses; Maximum one $1,000 award.
The Esther Kinsley Master's Thesis Fellowship
Esther Kinsley Fellowship
Must have completed Master's Thesis during the previous academic year;
One $500 award.

Indiana University does a lot to find and contribute grant money to their staff and students but they are only a small part of the grant pool. - Grants.gov Allows organizations to electronically find and apply for competitive grant opportunities from all federal grant-making agencies. Grants.gov is the single access point for over 1000 grant programs offered by the 26 federal grant-making agencies.
- Institute of International Education
Provides detailed descriptions of the institute's grants, including the Fulbright program.
- GrantsNet One-stop resource to find funds for training in the sciences and undergraduate science education
- International Research & Exchanges Board Provides grant opportunties for U.S. scholars to conduct field research in CEE and the NIS.
- Charles A. Dana Foundation Supports health research and school reform by means of grants and public education initiatives.
- Sloan Foundation Philanthropic nonprofit institution established by Alfred P. Sloan, Jr. in 1934. The Foundation's programs and interests include science and technology, standard of living and economic performance, education and careers in science and technology, national issues, and more.
- DAAD - German Academic Exchange Service Promotes cooperative international academic and scientific exchange for students and faculty. Provides information, grants and fellowships for research and study in Germany.
- National Science Foundation - Grants, Funding, and Program Areas Funds research and education in science and engineering, through grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements.
- National Council of University Research Administrators NCURA Home Page includes membership information, reviews, informatin, and reports.
- Spencer Foundation Grants funds to support research which contributes to the understanding and improvement of education. Grant programs include funding for faculty research and a variety of fellowship programs.
- Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans Provides grants for graduate study.
- Research Funding Opportunities and Administration Contains searchable research funding sources, a set of agency grant application forms, list of university sponsored research offices, as well as standard agreements for subcontracts, non-disclosures, and licenses.
- American Indian Graduate Center Assists American Indian and Alaskan Native college graduates who want to continue their education at master's, doctorate, and professional degree levels.
